I cannot stress enough how much I love Mexican food.
Tacos, burritos, nachos—they’re all my jam. So when Cinco de Mayo rolls around, you know I’m celebrating hard core! If you want to celebrate this holiday, here’s an easy way to throw a fiesta that won’t bust your bank account or your stress level!
Make a nacho bar using items all found from your local party supply store; I found all my items at Party City for about $20—now that’s something to celebrate!
To set up your nacho bar, you’ll need nachos and nacho toppings, plus cute serving items. Serve your nacho chips in a sombrero—just lay down a napkin or some plastic wrap to keep the area clean and pile on the chips.
Use plastic margarita glasses to serve up your toppings. I like guacamole, black beans, salsa, and cheese, but you and I both know the possibilities are endless! Add peppers, melted cheese, olives, and ground meat—whatever you like!
I found a festive set of napkins at Party City as well as a Mexican flag banner to complete the table.
Add margaritas (keep it simple with a margarita mix like Skinny Girl Margarita) and you’re done! Set up is over and the fiesta can begin.
