Tablespoon’s turning 3, so we created a special jelly shot just for the occasion!

It’s Tablespoon’s 3rd birthday, so Party Rock Jelly Shots are in the house!

Why purple and pink? Well, isn’t that just what every 3-year-old party princess digs?

Ditch the cake. Instead, we’re gonna lose our minds with these crazy animal print jelly shots. Colossal!

Pink and Purple Jelly Shots Square

And, yeah, they wiggle wiggle wiggle too.

Let’s go!

Mix up 2 small boxes of purple (grape) gelatin according to the box directions. Let that chill in the fridge in a 9x13” pan until it’s soft-set – like 90 minutes.

Purple Grape Gelatin

Take it out of the fridge and give it a good stir. Like scrambled eggs stir. Get it all jumbled up. Then back into the fridge for another half hour.

Scramble the Purple Gelatin

Next, follow our recipe directions to mix up the pink batch. Add pink gel color to the gelatin with a toothpick one dab at a time until you get party pink. Trust me. You’ll know.

Add Pink Gel Food Color

This pink gelatin has the booze in it, so get ‘er done! Wanna have some fun with your taste buds? Substitute flavored vodka for regular – like, cotton candy or cake flavor.

Pour the pink gelatin into a 9x13” pan and set it aside until your timer for the purple stuff goes DING!

Pan of Pink Jelly Shot Mixture

Now the FUN … take that scrambled purple gelatin and sprinkle it into the pink stuff. Come on … get those hands in there and get shuffling — plop little globs all over the pink. I know – this is strangely soothing and mildly creepy all at the same time.

Sprinkle Scrambled Grape Gelatin Over Pink Gelatin

Then get that pan back into the fridge for 3 hours until it’s totes set.

Pink and Purple Jello Shots Ready to Cut

Cut ‘em up into squares.

Pink ‘n purple party jelly shots … dressed for the partay…

Then rock ‘em!

@Anonymous: Love the unboozy flavors you used! Thanks for the great idea! You can also use lemonade in place of the vodka in this and other jelly shot recipes that you want to “dry out.”
