Two of my favorite ingredients are chocolate and peanut butter.

Marry the two and add the crunch of a salty pretzel…I’m in heaven! I remember growing up I would actually dip chocolate covered pretzels into peanut butter and I thought it was the best thing ever. This Chocolate Covered Peanut Butter Pretzel treat makes it easier to enjoy the delicious combo and is a nice twist (pun intended) on the plain ole’ pretzel snack. There is something so delectable about the salty and sweet flavors that melt my heart… okay, I know I’m talking about food, but these chocolate covered peanut butter pretzels are seriously addicting. The best part is that they’re homemade!

peanut butter ball and pretzel

Combine the ingredients into a bowl and mix until you can form mini peanut butter balls in your hand without it sticking too much.

peanut butter pretzel sandwiches

Make a peanut butter sandwich with two pretzels. Then place them in the fridge for at least two hours or over night.

melted chocolate dip

Melt milk chocolate over a double broiler for dipping. Dip one side of the pretzel in the chocolate.

peanut butter pretzel bites

Place the chocolate covered pretzels on parchment paper and refrigerate until chocolate hardens.

Then serve up your chocolate and peanut butter salty goodness for an awesome bite-sized party dessert!

I used half the dry ingredients in the recipes and it worked just as great. Cuts out a lot of calories. Just make sure to refrigerate them.

I made them yesterday and they were a hit!! My 2 year old daughter loved them too. So good and so much cheaper than buying a container of peanut butter pretzels. Great recipe!!

If you want you can leave out the sugar and dip them in an unsweetened dark chocolate! There are always alternatives! ;)
