This is the perfect dessert for a fall gathering!

Moist mini carrot cake bites with two delectable whipped dips – Rum Buttercream Frosting Dip and Cinnamon Cream Cheese Frosting Dip. The first dip is a whipped buttercream flavored with rum, which almost gives it a butterscotch flavoring. It’s so delicious! The second dip is a cream cheese base with whipped butter and cinnamon. Both pair well with carrot cake and are excellent flavors for fall. These little cake bites are yummy and fun finger foods for a fall social.

Carrot Cake Bites

Carrot Cake Bites

For the carrot cake bites, I used Betty Crocker Carrot Cake mix and baked in a 9″ x 12″ pan.

Let it cool completely, then cut it into 1” to 2” squares.

When you remove a square, cut it in half again, so it’s bite size. Now the dips…

Rum Buttercream Frosting Dip

Beat butter until light and fluffy. Add in the sugar and rum and beat on high until the texture is smooth and creamy.

Cinnamon Cream Cheese Frosting Dip

Cinnamon Cream Cheese Dip

Beat butter and cream cheese on high until light and fluffy. Add in sugar and cinnamon and continue to beat until smooth and creamy. Sprinkle cinnamon on top for garnish.

Putting It All Together

Arrange the cake squares on a long tray and place the dips in the middle. Don’t forget a mini spoon, so your guests can pile on the frosting!

Enjoy!
